We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and visitors, as we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of any information provided to us through our website, (including all subpages thereto, the “Site”), mobile applications, mobile web sites, use of your loyalty card, via application forms, over the phone or by mail.  We have prepared this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to highlight our commitment to your privacy and to inform you as to how we will use the information you entrust to us in connection with the services ( “Services”) provided by Global Partners LP and its operating subsidiaries, Global Companies LLC, Global Montello Group Corp. and Alliance Energy LLC (collectively, “Global”).  If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the website, mobile applications, mobile web sites nor should you sign up for a loyalty card, or submit any other information to us via phone or mail.

Global understands that the security of your business and/or personal information is important to you. Whenever you submit business and/or personal identifiable information through the Site, you will be doing so through our secure server. Although it is necessary for us to collect certain information, we respect and protect your right to privacy. The following policy is designed to answer any questions and concerns you may have regarding your privacy and the security of your information. How is your information collected?
We collect customer Information from various sources including the following:

Alltown Insiders
Information is provided by you when you enroll in the program via the mobile app, website, or in store. Additionally, information is collected when you swipe or scan your loyalty card, use the mobile app, log into the web site or use an alternate identifier at the fuel pumps or in store checkout.

Cookies are bits of electronic information placed over the Internet onto your computer. A cookie assigns a unique tracking number to each computer accessing the Site, which enables us to recognize and keep track of each user, so we can tailor information for you. However, we will not store personal information about you or your finances using cookies. Cookies are standard on the Internet and utilized by most Web sites whether you are aware of it or not. However, if you wish, most browsers can be set to prevent cookies or to notify you when one is being placed.

Information is provided by some functionality associated with mobile usage including location based services.

Individuals interested in contacting Global for more information may provide business and/or personal information when using our Site or customer care telephone number. Any information provided will not be shared or disseminated except as noted below.

Server logs
In an effort to make our Site as effective as possible, the computers that operate the Site may collect certain information each time you visit the Site and store these statistics in server logs. These statistics do not identify the specific user, but will give us information regarding the type of user who is accessing the Site and certain browsing activities of that user. Information collected in this way includes the IP address of the user accessing our Site (i.e. the unique ID number of the user’s computer), the type of browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) and operating system (system software) used to access our Site, the website the user last visited before linking to our Site, how long the user accessed our Site in any given session, and the date and time of access. We may make extensive use of these non-personally identifiable aggregated data in order to understand how our Site is being used and may share them with others in order to develop, promote, and expand our business.  We may also conduct online surveys to better understand the needs and profiles of our visitors and to measure the interest of our visitors in the features of our Site.

How is this information used?
Global will not disclose to any company, person or agency and Customer Information such as customer names, email addresses or phone numbers except as described below.

To provide our customers with products, services and offers we believe may meet your needs and interests, Global may disclose information to service providers that perform services for us, such as sending an email or a text message. We require any service provider to sign a confidentiality agreement that prohibits them from using the information for unauthorized purposes.

Data collection and reporting service
At this time, we do not utilize or transmit any of your information to data collection or reporting services.

Is there any other way that user information might be disclosed?
We may disclose information in order to comply with a subpoena, court order, administrative or governmental order, or any other requirement of law, or when Global, in its sole discretion, deems it necessary in order to protect the safety of any person or the public. Other than as described in this Privacy Policy, we will not share or disclose your information with or to anyone.

How can I prevent my information being collected or disclosed?
You at any time can direct us not to disclose Customer Information about you or change your preference in this regard, or to change Customer Information provided to us previously by contacting us at, calling toll free at 800-255-1927 or via email at [email protected] If you direct us not to disclose such information you will not be eligible for benefits associated with the Alltown Insiders™ or any promotions that require individual information, such as buy 4 coffees get one free.

This Site may contain links to third-party sites. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes and are not controlled by Global, nor is the content monitored by Global. While we try to link to sites that share our high standards and respect for personal privacy, Global is not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by any third party.

Change in Ownership and Other Business Transaction
In the event Global goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition or the sale of all or substantially all of its assets (a “Business Transition”), information you have provided to Global (“Your Information”) will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.  In such event, Global’s custody of Your Information will be transferred subject to all the terms and restrictions in this Privacy Policy.

Following a Business Transaction, Global or its successors will continue to use Your Information in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected.  If, however, we plan to use Your Information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via email and/or through a notice on our Web site and any other appropriate methods.  You will have a choice as to whether or not we use Your Information in this different manner.  Whether or not you wish to have Your Information used in this different manner, you will retain ownership rights to Your Information and the ability to delete Your Information at any time.

Amendment of Privacy Policy
Global will occasionally update this Privacy Policy.  You can determine when the Privacy Policy was last updated by looking at the “last update” date at the bottom of the policy.  If there are material and substantial changes to this Privacy Policy, we will note these changes through a prominent notice on the Site.

Protecting Customer Information is an important priority for Global. Any employees who violate our security policy and procedures are subject to disciplinary action. Service providers that receive Customer Information are required to preserve the confidentiality of that information under the terms of our legal contracts with them.

Unfortunately, no data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  While we strive to protect Your Information, we cannot warrant the security of the information provided to us online.  However, once we receive your information, we will do our best to ensure that our systems are functioning properly and will use reasonable and customary efforts to protect that information.

California Residents
